Jamaican Jerk Paste
A spicy blend of peppers, herbs and pimento seed. A perfect marinade for grilled food.
Ingredients
- 1 scotch bonnet pepper roughly chopped (use more if you want it spicier)
- 2 tbsp green onion
- 2 tbsp ground allspice/pimento seeds
- 4 cloves garlic roughly chopped
- 1 large sweet onion roughly chopped
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp salt
- 2 tsp ground black pepper
- 2 tsp ginger diced
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- Zest and juice of 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Ingredients

Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. Store in an air tight container in your refrigerator.
